After looking through all my work prints and contact sheets and rolls I found a few obvious trends in my work. I rarely like to shoot at random unless it is a person I know well for their features and personality (which I tried to do for my last roll), I don't usually photograph still life, I photograph mainly portraits where I am in control of the composition, lighting, atmosphere and props. Any abstractions I do are with inconspicuous light, and it seems that I am drawn to soft lighting - more dream like, rather than stark and heavy contrast. I have experimented with nudes more than ever, but I know there is a lot of work to be done in that area. In a lot of my photographs I have found that I like to photograph something that is thought of relatively beautiful and very feminine, but with something off about it either strange, or evil. I am interested in the ritualistic, cults, and pagan. A lot of ideas I get from my work are straight from nature, and ephemeral. I can see progress in printing and exposure when comparing my first rolls to my most recent ones. In reshooting I would combine two photoshoots that I have done, one being a nude in the basement of an old hospital (now apartment building) and I would replace the basement for the shoot I did at old City Hall (if it were possible, it would be very risky)..
