  1. I've noticed in this group of photographers there is a obvious and beautiful use of lines. From the rail that the men are sitting on to the line of the boat on the water, it helps organize the image and makes it easier for the viewer to follow. I especially enjoy the first one. Not only does it have a great sense of lines and perspective, but the lighting and colouring is beautiful, as it should be in environments like that.

  2. Yamariah Walters: Looking at this photograph by Lewis Hine's I am inspired. I love how it is of the working class sitting on a crane above the city. Not a single individual has fear in their eyes, even some of them look down. They are comfortable in their world. It is as though the artist was making a statement that " like God created the Earth, these men amongst others created our cities." In addition, there is also a great use of light. I love how one side of the image is slightly foggy(as it would be in that time) and the other is gray. The use of contrast, lines, and how it is composed brings out a greater meaning within this piece.

  3. If you like Art Wolfe you have to see his t.v. show: http://travelstotheedge.com/ The show gives you some insight into his work because you see him working out in the field capturing the wildlife photos he's famous for.
